The Magnolia life.
On May 23, 2013, an American reality television series about home design and renovation began on HGTV. The show, Fixer Upper, quickly became a hit as longtime Waco, Texas residents Chip and Joanna Gaines captured our heart.
And with that, the Magnolia media empire was created.
Magnolia has become a household name, and folks all over the country have fallen in love with the Gaines’ way of life.
Magnolia Manifesto
Their manifesto, which can be found inside the back cover of each issue of The Magnolia Journal, defines their mission:

Magnolia Market
Magnolia Market at the Silos, commonly called Magnolia Market, is a shopping complex in the heart of downtown Waco, Texas.
There’s a little something for everyone there: Shopping, games, the garden and even a bite to eat.
The Market is staged and set up with one goal in mind: to inspire you to own the space you’re in. They hope that you’ll come to visit and leave excited about your home.

Magnolia Table
The Magnolia Table, where “there’s always a seat,” is a breakfast and lunch restaurant in Waco, Texas, specializing in fresh, homegrown ingredients and good old fashioned cooking.
There is something on the menu for everyone, including the kiddos, vegetarians, vegans, and folks with a gluten intolerance.
Chip and Joanna have made several of their fresh Magnolia Table foods available in the Take Away + Market. These items are already prepackaged and ready for you to drop in and carry out for lunch on-the-go.
